Komyo ReikiDo (pron. Koh-m-yoh Ray-key Doh) is a Japanese Reiki system, founded by Inamoto Hyakuten, Pure Land (Jodo Shu 浄土宗) Buddhist Monk, Reiki researcher & renown International Reiki teacher.

Komyo ReikiDo is a keep-it-simple Reiki system & practice, based on the Japanese aesthetic of Less is More. Komyo ReikiDo is based on Reiki Ryoho as was practised in Japan, that is, a Japanese system based on traditional Reiki mindset (way of thinking).
The purpose of Komyo ReikiDo is to strive for the improvement of mind & body through Reiki Ryoho practice, to cultivate a healthy & peaceful life as well as uplift our spirituality & being.

光明靈氣道是一種簡單的靈氣系統和練習,基於日本「少即是多」的美學。光明靈氣道是以日本所實行的靈氣療法為基礎的,即基於傳統靈氣心態(思考方式)的日本系統。
光明靈氣道的目的是透過靈氣療法練習來改善身心,培養健康、平靜的生活,提升我們的靈性和存在。
Class Standards
There are four (4) levels in Komyo ReikiDo (KRD). Initial class attendance must be in-person.
初伝 Shoden (Level 1)
Duration - Min. 5 hours

* Minimum one (1) month before eligible to sit for Chuden.
中伝 Chuden (Level 2)
Duration - Min. 5 hours

* This level is the minimum for practitioners who offer their services to the public.
Minimum six (6) months before eligible to sit for Okuden.
** Shoden & Chuden levels are about healing by physical hands.
奥伝 Okuden (Level 3)
Duration - Min. 10 hours

* Minimum twelve (12) months before eligible to sit for Shinpiden.
神秘伝 Shinpiden (Level 4 / Teaching Level)

*After the first sitting of Shinpiden, a Shihan Candidate certificate will be issued. This certificate does not allow the student to teach. To teach KRD, a Shihan Candidate must attend a second in-person or online Shinpiden Seminar as a minimum. See below.
**Okuden & Shinpiden levels are about healing by spiritual hands.
Shihan Candidate
First time sitting of Shinpiden must be in-person. Certificates will state that the person is a Shihan Candidate after the training. This is a non-teaching level.
Shihan Certification
After the second sitting of Shinpiden, the Shihan Candidate will become a certified Komyo ReikiDo Shihan, able to teach all levels of Komyo ReikiDo. It is recommended that at least 6 months pass before sitting Shinpiden for the second time.
The second sitting of Shinpiden may be in-person or online. It is preferred that re-sitting Shinpiden classes are done in-person. However, the online re-sitting option is on offer for those who are not able to travel to an in-person class.
